Entegrus Powerlines Board Vacancy

Entegrus Powerlines is a regulated company that successfully operates, maintains and provides customer care related services in the electricity distribution sector. Entegrus Powerlines proudly serves approximately 59,000 customers in southwestern Ontario, with three service centers in The Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc and the City of St Thomas.

Entegrus Powerlines is wholly owned by Entegrus Inc. Entegrus Inc. has three shareholders; the Municipality of Chatham-Kent is the majority shareholder (71.5%), the City of St Thomas (20.6%) and a private company Corix Utilities (7.9%) from Vancouver British Columbia.

Due to a vacancy, Entegrus Powerlines is seeking a qualified candidate who has a high degree of integrity, skill and commitment to serve on its Board.

The following qualifications are an asset for candidates to the Board position:

  • Knowledge and skill in one or more areas of Board governance: policy, finance, and personnel
  • Knowledge and experience in the energy, utility and/or regulatory industry
  • Visionary with experience in corporate strategic planning and priority-setting
  • Experience in providing leadership guidance and support on growth initiatives
  • Willingness to serve on at least one of Entegrus’ committees

The new Board member will receive a modest remuneration for their services. The time commitment is approximately 40hrs per year including quarterly meeting attendance. The new Board members will serve a term of three (3) years and may be eligible to serve on the Board for additional consecutive terms.
