Earth Hour 2018

Set aside an hour this Saturday, March 24 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and join millions of people around the globe switching off their lights for the good of the earth. For over 10 years, this movement has greatly impacted the world, with participation in over 180 countries. It only takes 60 minutes to help take action against climate change and save wildlife.

In 2017, The Independent Electricity System Operator reported an Entegrus service territory-wide reduction of 2,962 kWh of electricity for Earth Hour.

Challenge: Let’s turn off the lights, and lessen our impact on climate change and our wildlife in Canada! How will you spend your hour in the dark?
